About
Transitioning to a zero-carbon economy and meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement require us all to decarbonise urgently. Many organisations are making good progress in understanding the emissions they generate directly but understanding their indirect (Scope 3) emissions is a bigger challenge. Given that these emissions can make up anything from 70-90% of an organisation’s carbon footprint, addressing them is critical for reaching net zero.
At Cambridge University Press we are committed to reducing our Scope 3 emissions by approximately one third by 2027. Explore how we are changing the way we operate and working collaboratively with our peers, partners and colleagues to make publishing’s transition ecologically sustainable.
