About
NUNA means “soul” in Quechua. The NUNA collective was born naturally during the creation of the anthology.
Nine Latin American poets come together in this anthology to share the experiences of migrant women in Germany. Migratory Butterflies is an emotional map built upon five pillars: roots, womanhood, migration, metamorphosis, and integration. Here, personal experience becomes a collective testimony, weaving a colorful and resilient tapestry of poems that allow readers to recognize and understand the authors in a context different from their homeland.
Through this anthology, they bring their ancestral and cultural heritage, their linguistic richness reflected in the nuances, tones, accents, neologisms, regionalisms, idioms, and expressions of vibrant Latin America. This project invites readers to immerse themselves in the wealth of diverse voices and opens a dialogue on the journey of migrant women.
