Ukrainian Book Institute is the key government institution in the book publishing industry Under the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.

- to shape state policy in the area of book publishing

- to promote book reading

- to support book industry

- to support translations of Ukrainian literature abroad

- to represent Ukraine at international book events

The UBI is member of ENLit - European Network for Literary Translation and EURead international organizations.
