The Italian Cultural Institutes (IIC) are official bodies of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation dedicated to promote the Italian language and culture abroad by organizing language courses and events and providing cultural services.

The IIC are an “open window” on main cultural and social aspects of past and current Italy.

The network of Italian Cultural Institutes in the world counts on 86 locations worldwide; 5 of them are based in Germany, respectively in the cities of Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart.
