Sunono Publishing

Sunono is an Arabic publisher established in the UK. We publish our books in Arabic and English. We publish children's books with the approach of extending our work to introduce adult books and novels.

In 2020 and 2021 we won the Sharjah Translation Grant for our best-selling chapter book “Number25" and Novella “408” 2021 an adult novel that captures the heart of the hotel quarantine in the UK.

We also bought Arabic rights from the very successful British publisher Nosy Crow and Igloo Books. We bought Arabic and English rights from the very well-known German Publisher Carlsen for more stunning children's books such as Minecraft to be published 2023-2024.

We published sires for ages 2-5 and others for 6-12 in addition to sires to teach Arabic for non-Arabs and a chapter book for ages 9-13.

We are proud to be a member of the Arab Publishers Association, the IPG, and the Arab Children’s Book Publisher Forum.

Our books are in various categories, some are to support teaching the Arabic language to Arabs and non-Arabs, in series of stories at a high level in terms of language, content, and illustrations, our books target children and young adults, in a variety of topics and reading levels. We make sure that our topics are interesting to the children and nurture their culture, in addition to enjoying reading, fiction, and nonfiction content corresponding to the age group.

Our slogan is to travel through stories like the bird Sunono which means Swallow, an international migrating bird that goes back to its nesting throughout the seasons. We want to travel the world with stories from different countries and Authors in Arabic and English.
