Sharjah Book Authority is a government entity for handling literary activities in the Emirate of Sharjah. SBA organizes Sharjah International Book Fair, Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, Sharjah Publishers Conference, Sharjah Bookseller Conference, Sharjah International Library Conference, etc.  Sharjah Publishing City, a free zone for publishers and Sharjah Literary Agency are part of SBA.  SBA attends more than 30 literary activities worldwide annually.
