Shambhala Publications is an independent, 55+ year old publisher based in Colorado.  Our mission is to publish books—rooted in wisdom traditions—that focus on inner transformation, enlightened living, and alleviating suffering.  We are the largest publisher of Buddhism in the world, though that is only half of our list, which also includes other contemplative traditions, personal development, yoga, wellness, martial arts, poetry, cooking, crafts, and more.
