Korea Craft and Design Foundation (KCDF) is a public institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, established to enhance the quality of life for citizens through the promotion of crafts, design, and traditional culture. It carries out various projects to inherit the unique values of crafts, design, and traditional culture, and to reinterpret them in a modern context, thereby strengthening the
competitiveness of Korean culture.
To achieve these goals, KCDF operates four cultural spaces: KCDF Gallery, Culture Station Seoul 284, Hanji House, and Hanbok Workshop. It conducts diverse activities including investigations and research, exhibitions and fairs, training of specialized personnel, development of cultural products, publication of periodicals, and international exchanges based on these facilities.
