The Gresham Publishing Company is an independent Scottish book publishing company, based on the south side of the River Clyde, in Glasgow, Scotland UK.
We publish with imprints Geddes & Grosset (G&G) established in 1988 ; Waverley Books (2007) and Waverley Scotland (2015).
As G&G, we publish children's books, educational books and books, and e-books, for learners of all ages. We have produced English language learning books, custom and own-brand books for publishers, booksellers and corporate customers.
Waverley Books focuses on Scottish titles – from graphic novel versions of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Kidnapped and Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, adapted by Alan Grant and illustrated by Cam Kennedy, to The Complete Works of Robert Burns ; The Glasgow Cookery Book; Scottish Witches, Scottish Murders; The Malt Whisky Map of Scotland and The Clans & Tartans Map of Scotland, and many other children’s and non-fiction, home and leisure books with a Scottish connection.
As Waverley Scotland we created a real tartan cloth notebook and journal range, working with Kinloch Anderson Scotland, holders of a Royal Warrant of Appointment as Tailors and Kiltmakers to HM King Charles III.
Waverley’s Tartan Cloth Commonplace Notebooks were launched in 2016 and have become popular across the world.
We have a range for retail sale and produce custom Tartan Cloth Notebooks for Universities, Schools, Museums, Conferences and Corporate clients.
